Effective Poetry & Essay Writing Skills

The study of poetry allows for a concentrated study of all that is important in English literature, and all that students have difficulty with. This course is designed to revise knowledge each student should already possess at his or her level, and then to build on this through a series of linked exercises that foster thinking, reading and writing skills together, providing a confidence in dealing with poetry in all aspects of the English syllabus.

Shakespearean Literature for Exam Success

The study of Shakespearean Literature is often challenging for high school students. This course is designed to consider a variety of Shakespearean texts to ensure students are comfortable in understanding Shakespeare, the Shakespearean context and to build confidence in skills for exam success.
